Grassidium makes grass alive! It adds the ability for grass, flowers, and ferns to spread and grow based on environmental conditions. Your world's static plants become a dynamic, spreading ecosystem that reacts to light, rain, and plant density.
✨ Features
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| 🌿 Dynamic Spreading | Plants won't stay put! Grass, flowers, and ferns slowly spread to nearby empty dirt blocks. |
| 🌱 Tall Growth | Small plants like grass and ferns can grow into their tall versions. |
| ☀️ Environmental Factors | Plant growth isn't random. It's affected by light levels (each plant has its preferred light) and grows faster in rain. |
| 👨🌾 Crowding | Plants won't spread if the area is too crowded with their own kind. |
| 🌻 Plant Species | The mod knows the difference between species (grass, fern, flower) for crowding rules. |
| 🚧 Obstacle Awareness | Plants check their path before spreading. Solid blocks stop growth, while fences or glass panes only lower the chance of spreading. |
| ⚙️ In-game Config | Change mod settings directly in the game (Mods -> Grassidium -> Config). Adjust spread chances, growth rates, rain effects, and more! |
⚙️ Configuration
You can change almost everything directly in the game! Go to Mods -> Grassidium -> Config. Or edit grassidium-common.toml.
Don't like a feature? You can disable spreading entirely, or fine-tune values to fit your game.
